Published in the March 2024 edition of JCRS. With a large cohort of 100 eyes, It was shown that 60% of patients improved one or more lines of vision with this treatment - substantially better results than other cross linking protocols.
In the severe keratoconus group, 40% of patients gained 2 or more lines of vision. With the Glaukos Corporation KXL 2 machine, corneal collage cross-linking isn't just a stabilising procedure - it IMPROVES best spectacle corrected visual acuity.
With much thanks David Gunn, Clark Chang, Giorgio Pirazzini and Rebecca Cox for being such a great team players.
