[VIDEO] Epi-on Cross-linking U.S. Study In Progress

A phase 3 U.S. study has commenced assessing a novel epi-on, oxygen-improved corneal cross-linking, Clark Chang, OD, MSA, MSc, FAAO, explained in Orlando, Florida at the American Institute of Optometry meeting.

Patients who undergo cross-linking (CXL) and have difficulty with contact lenses may be candidates for a procedure that combines CXL with topography-guided Laser PRK.

Chang went on to gave an explanation of these approaches in his talk on contemporary keratoconus management at the meeting.
